Up North
This weekend we went up north to see my Grama and Poppa and so my Grandpa could take me ice fishing. It was so much fun, cold, but fun. I wasn't too patient waiting for all the fish. EWWWWW, did you know they are slimy? I didn't want to touch any. After Mom and I left the ice, Daddy and Grandpa caught a lot.
While at Grama's I slept in my own room in the big girl bunk bed. Everyone was so proud and excited for me. I like sleeping in there. On Sunday Poppa took all of us to eat pancakes, they were yummy.
My Grandpa gave me a guitar. I'm still a little small for it, but Daddy is going to learn to play so he can teach me when I am big, maybe 5.

Busy Weekend
What a busy weekend. Saturday mommy took me to GeGe's house for lunch and I got to see my Grandma too. But we had to leave so I could make it to my playdate at Harper's house. She has a fun house, we had a great time. Then on Sunday, mommy and daddy took me to the movies!!! We saw Princess and the Frog and we ate popcorn and yucky/yummy candy. (Mom's Note: Yucky/yummy candy = Sour patch kids, she would bite into each one and say yucky, but would keep eating it. She must of eaten half the bag) Here are some pictures of my playdate at Harper's house.
We set up a grocery store where they took turns being cashier and shopper.

They couldn't find the money. But Harper knew where her Daddy keeps the credit card.

Mike plays the piano, here is Emily's first lesson.

Then it was time to relax. Elmo-Time at Harper's house.

Caillou
Emily LOVES Caillou. Thank goodness for OnDemand.
"Caillou is a 4-year-old boy who delights in the small wonders of the world around him, embellishing everything he sees with his rich imagination. Surrounded by his parents, his little sister, Rosie, his grandparents and friends his age, Caillou discovers the world and just can't wait to grow up! Everything around him is an excuse to embark on exciting adventures, learn new things and have fun. Whether he's at school, at home or in a park, Caillou finds opportunities for learning and growing everywhere!
Each episode of the series is a slice of Caillou's life. Thanks to his vivid imagination, ordinary, everyday events quickly become exciting adventures where Caillou can play "make-believe". But Caillou can tell the difference between real life and pretending. When he is done playing make-believe, Caillou happily returns to the familiar daily routine of a 4-year-old. Indeed, each episode begins and ends firmly anchored in the real world.
Designed for preschoolers, the Caillou television series is composed of 30 minute episodes divided into three 7 minute adventures. In each adventure, Caillou discovers the big, wide world, experiences new things, shares his imaginary adventures with us and sometimes, even sings for his little viewers!" --PBS Web site

Magnets
Emily has discovered magnets, thanks to Caillou. (more on him later) Here are some pictures of where Emily has found where magnets will stick. Wood vs. Metal. Another lesson is the making. Besides these photos, she has found that they stick to the base of the lamp in the living room, obviously the fridge, but she loves to go around the house finding new things that are metal to stick them on.
