It's beginning to look a lot like... FALL!

We have been enjoying the nice fall weather here at the Leusby household. Trey has been able to be outside and he ENJOYS it!!!! Emily is continuing to love kindergarten. She is playing indoor soccer this winter and tonight she starts gymnastics. Trey is growing at a fast pace. Eating 6oz eery 3-4 hours. And sleeping through the night!! He is also pooping more often than before, at least every other day or two days, which is a big improvement. We have also switched him to a gentle formula which he seems to be handling a lot better. This weekend we take our first adventure up north to visit family. (Trey's first time.) Since T doesn't like the car seat, we plan to leave at night while he sleeps. He is so excited to meet Grandpa, we have been talking about all week!

Good Times!

Time flies...when we're growing!

Treyton is 2 months old already. I honestly can't believe it, where does the time go?! He is a very happy little man. LOVES his big sister, smiles all the time when she is around. His biggest milestone....POOPING! He started going on his own about 3 weeks ago. This is a big relief for all of us, no pun intended. LOL! At his check up, he was 10lbs, 6 oz. and 23 inches long. Dr. B says he's perfect and is growing well. YAY! He is still trying to get used to sleeping in his crib, I think it's laying flat he doesn't like, we will keep trying. He is also getting better at being in his car seat, hopefully we can make the 3 hour trip north soon to see everyone.

We love having Grandma Beth staying with us. She watches Trey while Mom is at work. And because Mom works from home, she is able to check in and feed him a bottle every now and then. She even gets to enjoy a little lunch time tummy time.

Emily is loving Kindergarten. She comes home with new songs and sayings everyday. She tells us all about how she staying on "green" all day, which is a good thing! She also comes home with many 'prizes' for doing something correctly or helping out others. We are very proud of her. Her first progress report came home with all EXCELLENT's circled and a comment of "She amazes me". I can't wait for parent teacher confrences in November to find out all the specifics.

Fast and Furious

Now that we have settled in at home with our new bundle of joy, we would like to share a few more pictures with you of our Treyton. He came earlier than expected and came very fast... Lindsay was only in labor for a few short hours before he decided to arrive. Her first contraction was at 6pm, we arrived at the hospital at 7:45, and by 10:16 pm, little Treyton was here. Lindsay had just enough time to get hooked up to monitors, have her epidural and to start pushing. We couldn't be more thrilled to have the little man in our lives. Welcome Treyton Robert Leusby!!! He was born Tuesday, July 24, 2012, and weighed 8lbs., 1oz, and was 20.5 inches long.
